Los Cristianos is a pretty fishing community located on the south coast of Tenerife Island. Playa de las Americas, Tenerife's largest resort area, is located just north of town.
This old community is a busy port from which ferries and hydrofoils depart for other islands in the Canary archipelago (i.e. La Gomera, La Palma, El Hierro, Gran Canaria).
